Packet Tracer V5.3 Download
Packet Tracer5.3.1 supports activities authored in Packet Tracer 4.0, 4.1, 4.11, 5.0, 5.1, 5.2.x and 5.3. Please note that the last two courses of the CCNA Discovery and CCNA Exploration curricula require Packet Tracer version 4.11 at a minimum, CCNA Security requires version 5.2 at a minimum, and the beta Packet Tracer Skills Based Assessments require version 5.2.1 at a minimum. The curricula are fully compatible with Packet Tracer 5.3.1

Packet Tracer 5.2 Beta Testing
In preparation for the launch of Packet Tracer version 5.2, we are looking for instructors who will help us test this new version. We have added several new features and protocols, especially in the areas of security and QoS.
We are asking instructors who would like to participate in this beta test to create and submit a test case. A test case is a framework that is used by our automated testing software to validate Packet Tracer functions. We run more than 3000 test cases against every release of Packet Tracer.

Protocol Improvements
Packet Tracer 5.0 models protocols not included in earlier versions. These protocols include models of IPv6 Routing, IPv6 and IPv4 Dual Stack, IPv6 ND, IPv6 Routing Protocols, DHCPv6, NATv6, Multi-Area OSPF, Redistribution, RSTP, SSH, Multilayer Switching, and EtherChannel. Also, a model of the Cisco Catalyst 3560-24PS Multilayer Switch has been added.
